A. BAD BEAT PLUS PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT MECHANICS:
1. Bad Beat Plus Progressive jackpot shall only apply to qualifying Texas Hold’em Poker cash
games, if offered by Okada Manila Poker Management.
1.1. Qualifying games include Limit and No Limit Hold’em of ₱25/₱50, ₱50/₱100,
₱100/₱200, ₱200/₱500, ₱500/₱1,000 or above.
1.2. A Main and Minor Jackpot will be offered.
2. To qualify for the main Bad Beat Plus Jackpot, a player must have a Full House consisting of
Aces full of Tens (3 Aces and a Pair of Tens) or better and must lose to a higher ranking hand
of Four of a Kind or better.
2.1. Both the winning and losing hand must use both of their Hole Cards to create the highest
possible hand. If a Four of a Kind is beaten, either two of the four cards or one of the four
plus the Kicker (unranked card) which plays, must be in the players’ Hole Cards.
2.2. If a hand of Aces full of Tens is beaten to qualify, at least one of the cards in the losing
player’s Hole Cards must be an Ace (Three Aces on the board combined with a pair in
the player’s hand does not qualify for the Main Bad Beat Plus Jackpot).
2.3. For the Main Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot to qualify, the hand must go to
the river and must go to showdown. All cards must be dealt, all betting must be
completed, and all hands must be tabled. Only the 1st board applies if players elect
to run it more than once.
3. Both winning and losing hands must be the player’s best possible combination of five cards
(only the 1st and 2nd best hands qualify).
3.1. In the case of a Straight Flush or a Royal Flush being used as a qualifying hand, both
Hole Cards must be used to make the best five-card hand possible.
4. A player’s Kicker must play and beat the board. There is no Jackpot if the Kicker ties the board.
5. The pot must be at least twenty times the Big Blind to be eligible for the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot.
6. A minimum of 5 players must be dealt in at the beginning of the hand and the pot must meet
the minimum Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot rake requirements to qualify for the Jackpot.
6.1. Players not dealt in at the start of the hand will not be eligible for a percentage of
the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot. An active player for this promotion is defined as a player
who does not have ‘Reserve’, ‘Missed Blind’ or ‘Missed Small Blind’ button in front
of their seat.
6.2. A player who removes their chips from the game prior to a showdown on a hand where
the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot is won, forfeits their right to any prize money.
6.3. If a player walks away from the game but leaves chips on the table and they were in
the hand at the beginning, they will retain their rights to their share of the Bad Beat
Plus Progressive Jackpot if the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot hand occurs.
7. Player must play their hands independently. If any player involved in the hand shares
information or instructs another player how to act or reveals their hand to other player,
whether directly or indirectly, will be disqualified from the.
7.1. Any player exposing their cards before action is completed will be disqualified from
the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot.
8. Any irregularities in the deck in play will disqualify the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot.
9. If there are more than 2 hands involved in a Bad Beat Plus Jackpot, then the two highest hands
will be considered for the jackpot. The highest hand being the Bad Beat Hand. The others will
qualify for the table share.
10. In the event of a Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot being won on more than one game at the
same time, both tables will split the jackpot.
10.1. In the event that both the Main and Minor jackpot are won at the same time, the Minor
jackpot will be deducted from the Main jackpot fund first, before awarding the Main
Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot pay-out.
B. BAD BEAT PLUS PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT RAKE
1. The daily Rake allocated to the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot shall be distributed as below:
1.1. 70% is allocated for the Progressive Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund.
1.2. 30% is allocated for an administration Fee.
1.2.1. The administration fee complies with the applicable PAGCOR license fee rate.
2. The funds allocated from the rake to the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot are allocated as below:
2.1. 70% is allocated to the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot Fund.
2.1.1. Pay-out of the Minor Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund will be deducted
from the total Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot Fund as required.
2.2. 30% is allocated to the Reserve Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot Fund.
3. The Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot rake will be removed from the pot based on the
following conditions:
3.1. No Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot rake is to be removed with less than five players
in the initial deal.
3.2. For ₱25/₱50 games:
3.2.1. 25 Pesos (₱25) will be removed from a pot that totals 250 Pesos (₱250)
and above, including the pot rake.
3.3. For ₱50/₱100 games and above:
3.3.1. 255 Pesos (₱25) will be removed from a pot that totals 250 – 499 Pesos
(₱250-₱499) including the pot rake.
3.3.2. 50 Pesos (₱50) will be removed from a pot that totals 500 Pesos (₱500)
or more, including the pot rake.
4. The Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot rake will be removed at the end of the game prior to
the pot being raked, and dropped in the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot drop box attached
to the table.
C. BAD BEAT PLUS PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT PAYOUT
1. The Progressive Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot amount shall be displayed daily in the
Poker Room, advising the jackpot amount players are eligible to win.
1.1. The Progressive Jackpot total shall be updated daily from 14:00.
1.2. The Okada Manila Management shall notify PokerStars LIVE Management of the
current amount of the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot daily, prior to 14:00. The
current daily amount is calculated from the previous days Bad Beat Plus Progressive
Jackpot rake added to the existing Jackpot amount.
1.3. Upon the implementation of the Bad Beat Plus Jackpot, the first trading day starting at
124:00 will be allocated to accumulate the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot rake; the
second trading day will be allocated for verification and daily updating of the Bad Beat
Plus Progressive Jackpot at 14:00.
2. The initial seed amount of one million Pesos (₱1,000,000) for starting the Main Progressive
Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot will be funded by PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila.
2.1. If 100 % of the Progressive Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot is won, the jackpot
will revert to the initial one million Pesos (₱1,000,000) seed amount, held in the 1st
Reserve Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund, (or a higher amount if PokerStars LIVE
at Okada Manila elects).
2.2. If 50% of the Progressive Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot is won, half of the
displayed jackpot amount will be awarded to the player and the other half remains
in the jackpot pool. If the remaining jackpot pool is less than one million Pesos
(₱1,000,000), the pool will revert to the initial one million Pesos (₱1,000,000) seed
amount, held in the 1st Reserve Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund, (or a higher
amount if PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila elects).
2.3. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila will shoulder the remainder should the 1st reserved
Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund be unable to cover the initial seed amount.
2.4. Should the first reserved Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund exceed the initial
One Million Pesos (₱1,000,000) seed amount, it will go to the 2nd reserve fund and
so on to supply the seed for the subsequent Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund.
3. The Main Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot shall only be awarded on ₱50/₱100 games and
above, that being 100% of the Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot Displayed.
4. The Minor Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot shall only be awarded on ₱25/₱50 games,
that being 50% of the Progressive Bad Beat Jackpot Displayed.
5. Progressive Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot payout schedule detailed below:

6. The Main Progressive Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot will remain pending until it is verified
by CCTV and PAGCOR.
6.1. If the jackpot is won again before the verification of the first jackpot, the second
jackpot will be eligible for the initial One Million (₱1,000,000) coming from the 1st
reserved Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund. If it has been found that the initial
Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot hand did not qualify, the second jackpot will be
entitled to the Main fund once verification is complete.
7. To collect the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot pay out, all winning players at the winning
table are required to provide Okada Reward Circle membership card and two valid photo
ID and submit their (TIN) tax identification number (Passport if foreign national) to receive
payment paid.
8. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management may, at their discretion, implement Bad Beat
Plus Progressive Jackpot alternatives, as detailed below:
8.1. The Minor Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund may be utilized so that it can be set
to apply for a certain period or for certain times of the day, as below:
8.1.1. Minor Jackpot - Royal Flush Jackpot – Active In conjunction with Bad Beat Plus
Progressive Jackpot Promotion. The first player to flop a Royal Flush may win
no less than 50,000 Pesos (₱50,000). Each month the jackpot would increase by
50,000 Pesos (₱50,000) until a Royal Flush is flopped.
8.1.2. On the first day of each month PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila will elect to
set an amount of 35,000 Pesos (₱35,000) from the Bad Beat Plus Progressive
Jackpot Fund and the 15,000 Pesos (₱15,000) from the Reserve Bad Beat Plus
Progressive Jackpot Funds to pay the Royal Flush Jackpot.
8.1.3. Conditions to qualify for the Royal Flush Jackpot are as follows:
1. Player must flop a Royal flush using their two-Hole Cards and win the pot to qualify
for Royal Flush Jackpot.
2. Player will win 100% of the displayed Royal Flush Jackpot amount.
3. Five or more players must be dealt into the hand.
4. There shall be no minimum qualifying pot.
5. The hand does not have to be played to completion.
6. The deal must be valid, and a flop must take place to qualify.
7. Only Texas Hold’em cash game will qualify for this promotion.
8. The promotion will end for that month once a royal flush has been flopped and will
restart on the 1st day of the following month.
9. In the event two royal flushes are flopped and it cannot be determined which hand
hit first, the prize payout will be divided evenly amongst the winners.
10. Players must provide valid ID as per Bad Beat Jackpot rules.
8.2. Minor Jackpot - Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot:
8.2.1. A set amount from the Reserve Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund for the
Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot over a certain day and time.
8.2.2. PAGCOR and players to be notified at least 7 business days in advance for the
date of implementation and pay-out breakdown.
8.2.3. Conditions to qualify for the Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot are
as follows:
1. All standard PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot
rules apply unless stated otherwise.
2. Lose with any Aces Full of Twos to Aces Full of Nines to any Four of a Kind or better,
to qualify for the Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot payout.
3. Aces Full: The player must have Full House that is made up of three (3) Aces and any
pair. Both Hole Cards must be used in the Full House and at least one of them must
be an Ace.
4. Winning hand: Both Hole Cards must be used to make the winning hand and for
Quads the player with a Four of a Kind (Quads) must have two of the quads as their
Hole Cards. The minimum winning hand is Quad Deuces (Aces Full beating aces full
does not qualify).
5. Both hands, the winning and the losing hands, must be the players best five card
hands possible.
6. Only the two highest hands are eligible for the Losing Hand and Winning Hand
payouts, all others will receive the per player table share. In the event two players
have the same losing hand they will and share the jackpot equally.
8.2.4. Payout amount for Aces Full Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot as below:
8.3. Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot Bonus:
8.3.1. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila may elect to allocate specific times when the
winner of the Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot may receive a cash bonus boost
from the Reserve Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot Funds.
8.3.2. PAGCOR and players to be notified at least 7 business days in advance for the
date of implementation and pay-out breakdown.
8.4. High Hand
8.4.1. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila may elect to pay a set amount from the
Reserve Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot funds for the highest hand at a
specific day and time.
8.4.2. PAGCOR and players to be notified at least 7 business days in advance for the
date of implementation and pay-out breakdown.
D. BAD BEAT PLUS PROGRESSIVE JACKPOT STANDARDS
1. All participants must be at least 21 years of age. Management may decline the acceptance
of a person from receiving the jackpot if found to be a blacklisted person (e.g. self-exclusion,
barred, suspended). If such cases occur, those jackpot funds will be added to the Reserve
Jackpot Fund.
2. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management reserves the right to verify eligibility of all
qualifying hands. There will be no recourse if the cards are mucked before surveillance was
able to verify the hands and the community cards.
3. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management will not be permitted to reconstruct the hands
in any way.
4. Any dispute or situation not covered by the official Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot Rules will
be resolved by the PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management in a manner deemed by them
to be the fairest to all concerned and that the decision shall be final and without recourse.
5. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management reserves the right to void any hand and/or
change, cancel or modify this promotion at any time subject to regulatory approval.
6. Players will be notified at least 7 business days in advance to which Minor Bad Beat Plus
Progressive Jackpot will be implemented.
7. PAGCOR will be notified at least 7 business days in advance by PokerStars LIVE at Okada
Manila Management for any utilization of the Minor Bad Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot fund
and will submit necessary documentation for approval of rules and dates of implementation.
8. Players and PAGCOR shall be notified, at least seven (7) days in advance, of the date of
cessation and where the incremental amount (reserve included) will be transferred to in case
the jackpot is not won during the period leading to the cessation date.
9. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management reserves the right to transfer the actual
Progressive jackpot amount to another available table games Progressive jackpot and shall be
confirmed by the PAGCOR Monitoring Team.
10. PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila Management observe a “No Flop, No Drop” policy for the Bad
Beat Plus Progressive Jackpot rake.
